If you’re moving materials like coal, copper,  salt or even potash or precious metal ore, conveyor systems beat trucks. A conveyor system that’s well-engineered and reliable saves energy while generating less dust and noise.

West River Conveyors specializes in conveyors for the most demanding applications such as long runs, uphill hauls, high temperatures, dirty, dusty environments, and moving heavy, abrasive materials. However tough your application, we can provide complete conveyor packages or conveyor system parts and components.

Underground Conveyor Systems

West River Conveyor understands the special challenges of operating conveyor systems underground which include raising heavy loads up long inclines, minimal space requiring high speeds, and, depending on the mine, the risk of fire.

We can provide three different types of conveyor structure – rigid rail, catenary, and wire rope – in widths up to 72″ and load ratings from CEMA B up to CEMA E+. We offer two types of Depreux belts that meet MSHA Part 14 regulations and a third for underground applications not subject to Part 14.

Underground conveyors can’t operate without terminal equipment and accessories, so West River Conveyors offer a wide range of such equipment. From transfer chutes and take up units to scrapers, covers, and dust containment systems, we supply everything needed to make your conveyor system run trouble-free.

Every underground conveyor application has unusual or unique features. Ask us about custom equipment packages.

Overland (Surface) Conveyors

Overland conveyors are highly cost-effective for hauling aggregates like sand and gravel over long distances. Compared to trucks they use less energy and create less noise and dust. West River Conveyors supplies conveyor belts, structure and terminal equipment, or a complete custom designed overland conveyor system.

When designing conveyor systems, we use the industry-leading Belt Analyst software tool. This helps us engineer overland conveyor systems that meet and exceed your design requirements.

Overland conveyor structure that’s well-designed and fabricated ensures long life and high system reliability. We can supply the total package including top and return idlers, brackets, stands, spreader bars, and associated hardware, or individual components as required.

West River Conveyors offers three different types of Depreux belt for overland applications, along with terminal equipment and accessories. We can also put together custom equipment packages that will work with existing hardware and meet your particular requirements for brands.

Radial Stacker Conveyors

Radial Stacker conveyors solve common stockpiling challenges by rotating radially, in an arc so you can stack large amounts of material in high and wide piles. They help improve safety, increase production and reduct operating costs through fewer equipment moves.

We can design and build a customized Telescoping or Portable Radial Stacker conveyor to meet your unique requirements.

Stacker Conveyors Systems

Our Stacker Conveyor Systems offer efficiency without unnecessary dust and product damage while moving up to 1,200 tons per hour of material into a stockpile.

You can choose between the Radial Stacker, Telescoping Stacker, and Telescoping Radial Stacker Conveyors depending on your needs.

We can also design and custom build your stacker conveyor system to fit your requirements.

Depending on what’s being stockpiled, your stacker conveyor system can be built from galvanized steel, stainless steel, mild steel, or aluminum.

Used and Rebuilt Conveyors

Sometimes a new conveyor isn’t the best answer. Maybe the need is for a short period or perhaps the budget is not available for  a new system. Sometimes the lead time on a new system is just too long. For situations like these, we offer used and rebuilt conveyors.

Used and rebuilt conveyors have advantages in addition to a lower price tag. West River Conveyors can offer a rapid turnaround and will customize equipment to suit your requirements.

A rebuilt conveyor can incorporate new components like rollers, idlers, motors, bearings, and couplings, (fluid or grid) Parts can be  the brands and models you prefer. That provides standardization across your conveyor systems, helping lower parts inventories and speed up in-service replacement.
