Those advantages include quicker response times, varying amounts of line pull and greater belt storage capacity. Depending on the bulk tension requirements of your take-up unit, electric winches will provide constant tension under dynamic loads and relieve motor overload by peaking torque prior to start-up – regardless of belt speed. For this specific winch, vertical beams were added to attach to the roof of the customer’s mine, allowing for proper connection to the customer’s take-up unit.
