constant-fill and fill-controlled fluid couplings, gear couplings, grid couplings, elastomer couplings and more from leading brands like Voith, Falk, Rexnord and Kraftpower. West River has in stock and ready to sell in a pinch, flexible disc couplings, T10, T20, G20 couplings, wrapflex couplings, and more. If not in-stock, West River can get a part for you in a timely manner. Let us help you find a coupling to suit your operational needs. New, used and rebuilt options available for every budget.
For sizing, availability, price and to discuss which type of coupling or fluid coupling might be right for your conveyor, please call West River at 800.332.2781 or Contact Us.
Fluid couplings are used to gently accelerate belt drives. Fluid couplings limit torque, provide load sharing upon start-up and dampen torsional vibrations increasing your conveyor system’s productivity and longevity. Maximum energy savings is also achieved when fluid couplings are used, due to current peak reduction.
In many cases customers opt to use a gear or elastomer coupling if they are using a VFD starter.
